Landscape Plan Application
General
1. The application should be submitted to: Pengarah, Jabatan Landskap, Tingkat 7, Bangunan Centre Point, Dewan Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu.
2. Landscape plan can only be submitted after development plan approval has been obtained from the City Planning Department.
3. Landscape plan should be submitted by a landscape architect, town planner, architect, civil engineer or registered draughtsman. If the application involves more than five acres (5) of land area, it must be submitted by a landscape architect.
4. Application must be submitted in five (5) copies, and three (3) of which must be in colour.
5. The processing fee is RM250.00.
6. Landscape plan which does not fulfill the standards and specifications of DBKK will be returned for revision.
Lanscape Plan Specification
1. The proposed landscape plan must show:-
· The number of the approved development plan and the date of approval.
· The name of the project as in the approved development plan.
· The name and address of the owner.
· The signature of the owner.
· The name, address, stamp and signature of the consultant who submitted the landscape plan application.
· The plan reference number.
· The location plan.
· The scale of the drawing.
· The North direction.
· The title of the plan.
· The legend.
· Specification plan of proposed plants and materials.
2. The proposed landscape plan should be prepared in a scale of 1:500, 1:1000 or in a scale which is suitable subject to the components of the proposal being able to be clearly shown.
3. Specification plan should be prepared in a scale of 1:10 or 1:20.
4. If the proposal is in an area of unlevel ground, contour should be shown.
5. Difference in surface levels should be shown in A.M.S.L. with reference to Jabatan Tanah & Ukur datum.
6. Specification of plant materials should be shown in a table indicating:-
· Position on site;
· Common name and botanical name;
· Number of each type of plants.
