Collection, Transporting And Disposal Of Garbage

Garbage collection, transporting and disposal service throughout the city is managed by Health and Urban Services Department.

Garden refuse and bulky waste collection service is provided free of charge twice a month according to the schedule in your area.

However, the quantity of garden and bulky waste collected without charges are only limited to three plastic bags.  For extra wastes, additional charges (RM12/trip) will be borne by the owner.

You can assist the City Hall in keeping the environment clean by:

• Ensuring that domestic waste is placed in plastic bags and tied properly before putting it in the garbage bin.
• Refrain from throwing rubbish indiscriminately into drains,rivers,surrounding areas and public places.
• Participate in recycling programme.
