Introduction
The Legal  Department was established in 2003 and merged with  of the Enforcement Department (Jabatan Penguatkuasa ) and was upgraded to became a fully fledged working department within Kota Kinabalu City Hall. 
It consists of six (6) divisions employing of a total of 26 staff and works actively  to archive it’s objectives in line with the vision and mission set by  Kota Kinabalu City Hall.
The six divisions consisted of:
  • Civil Division
  • Drafting and Contract Division
  • Prosecution and Advisory Division
  • Execution Court Order Division
  • Magistrate’s City Court Division
  •  Administration Division
