Potted Plants
Introduction
 
The KotaKinabaluCity Hall provides service for rental of potted flower plants to government departments/agencies, private sector and individuals for the following purposes:
 
  • Decorating halls for official function, meeting, conference and wedding.
  • Beautifying exhibition space etc.
Various types of fresh and attractive flower plants can be viewed at Landscape Nursery, Likas.
 
Procedure for rental
 
  • Write an official letter to the Landscape and Parks Department. KotaKinabaluCity Hall, 7th Floor, CentrePointBuilding, 88675 Kota Kinabalu.
  • The private sector or individuals are required to fill in the form at the Landscape and Parks Department, KotaKinabaluCity Hall, 7th Floor, CentrePointBuilding, 88657 Kota Kinabalu and settle the payment the latest 3 days from the date of delivery.
Rental Rates
 
  • Rental of one potted plant per day for government, department/agencies, statutory bodies, civil service, private sector and individuals are as follow:

  • Transportation cost for every lorry is RM120.00
  • 30% discount for users arranging the potted plants themselves
  • For damage or loss of plants and pots, charges will be imposed based on maintenance cost/market price
For more then 50 pots only.
 
Responsibilities
 
Whoever rents the potter plants shall :
 
  • Take care and water the plants during the period it is rented.
  • Inform the KKCH if the plants are to be kept longer than the period applied for, if not, charged for late delivery of pots will be imposed potted plants.
